Purple and black are two of the best colors to use in Louisiana for big 'ole bull reds. This fly is made to catch 'em. It can be used in any water color, but it really does great on those days when the water has some color to it, and the conditions aren't the best. Fish see darker colors better in dirty water. Tie this on. Sling it. Strip it. Hold on tight.
